PRIVACY POLICY FOR PHONK CHAT: AI GIRLFRIEND

1. Introduction
This Privacy Policy explains how Phonk Chat: AI Girlfriend (the “App”) handles information when you use it. The App is an entertainment and roleplay service for adults aged 18 and over. Its characters and replies are fictional and generated by artificial intelligence; they are not real people.
By using the App, you acknowledge the practices described here. Please do not include information in a chat or memory note that you do not want processed by online services.
2. Information Handled by the App
Information you provide
- Chat messages you type.
- Memory Vault notes you choose to add, edit, or remove.
- Choices you make in the App, such as character, reply language, age confirmation, notification choice, and advertising-consent choice.
- Information you voluntarily include in a privacy, support, or deletion request.
Information processed or stored locally
The App stores chat history, character data, user-created memory notes, affection progress, message quota and reward state, age-gate completion, language and display preferences, notification settings, advertising timing state, rating-prompt state, and a randomly generated installation identifier on your device. The installation identifier is not an account name and is not supplied by you.
Depending on your Android device and backup settings, eligible local App data may also be copied through Android backup or device-transfer services controlled by the platform provider.
Information transmitted off the device
To generate an AI reply, the App sends the current message, a limited recent conversation context, relevant Memory Vault notes, selected character context, interface language, reply-language setting, local time context, App version, and installation identifier to an online backend over HTTPS. The backend may transform the installation identifier into a hashed identifier and store language state, greeting or request state, and technical request logs used to operate, secure, and troubleshoot the service.
Online AI processing services receive the prompt context needed to generate a reply and return generated text. Their handling and retention may differ by provider and service configuration.
Advertising and consent services may automatically process an IP address, which can be used to estimate approximate location; App launches, taps, ad views, video views, and other product interactions; diagnostic information such as launch time, hang rate, and energy usage; and device or account identifiers such as the Android advertising ID and App Set ID. Google states that the Google Mobile Ads SDK collects and shares these data types for advertising, analytics, and fraud-prevention purposes.
Information the App does not request as a feature
The App does not provide account registration and does not ask for your name, email address, phone number, payment information, contacts, precise GPS location, photos, files, camera access, microphone access, or health information. You may still choose to type personal information into a message or memory note; such text will be handled as user-provided content.
3. How Information Is Used
Information is used to:
- generate and display AI replies;
- maintain recent conversation context and user-selected memory;
- keep character, affection, quota, reward, language, and preference state;
- prevent duplicate greetings, manage request state, and operate the service;
- display, measure, limit, and protect advertising;
- request and remember advertising-consent choices where required;
- schedule local morning, evening, and inactivity notifications after permission is granted;
- diagnose failures, protect the App and backend from abuse, and maintain performance;
- respond to support, privacy, and deletion requests; and
- comply with legal obligations and enforce applicable terms.
4. Local Storage and Retention
Local data generally remains on the device until you clear it in Settings, clear the App’s storage in Android settings, or uninstall the App. The “Clear All Local Data” control removes local chat history, user-created memory notes, preferences, quota and progress state, and returns the App to its age gate. Built-in character content may be recreated when the App starts again.
Android backup or device-transfer copies are controlled by your Android or Google backup settings and may be retained separately by the platform provider.
5. Server and SDK Retention
Backend state and technical logs are retained only as needed for service operation, security, troubleshooting, legal obligations, and provider requirements. We do not state a fixed period because retention can vary by record, configuration, provider, and legal requirement.
Advertising providers and AI infrastructure providers retain information according to their own agreements, settings, and privacy policies. Clearing local App data does not automatically delete information already processed or retained by those providers.
6. Android Permissions and Capabilities
- INTERNET: connects to the AI backend, AI processing services, consent service, and advertising service.
- POST_NOTIFICATIONS: allows local reminders after you grant notification permission. Denying it does not block chat.
- ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE: checks network availability and supports advertising delivery.
- AD_ID: lets the advertising SDK access the Android advertising ID when the operating system and your settings allow it.
- ACCESS_ADSERVICES_AD_ID: supports Android Privacy Sandbox advertising identifiers where available.
- ACCESS_ADSERVICES_ATTRIBUTION: supports advertising attribution measurement where available.
- ACCESS_ADSERVICES_TOPICS: supports Android Privacy Sandbox Topics advertising signals where available and permitted.
- WAKE_LOCK: allows AndroidX WorkManager to briefly keep the device awake while scheduled work completes.
- FOREGROUND_SERVICE: allows AndroidX WorkManager to support foreground execution for scheduled work when Android requires it.
- App-specific dynamic-receiver protection permission: protects internal AndroidX broadcast receivers from access by other apps and does not grant access to personal content.
A permission listed in the Android manifest does not by itself mean that every related data type is collected. Actual off-device handling is described in Sections 2 and 7.
7. Third-Party Services
Google Mobile Ads SDK and Google User Messaging Platform
Used to request, display, limit, and measure banner, native, interstitial, and rewarded ads and to collect advertising-consent choices where required. Google may process and share IP-derived approximate location, App interactions, diagnostic information, and device or account identifiers for advertising, analytics, and fraud prevention. Supabase
Used to host the backend function and related operational state. It may process AI request content, a hashed installation identifier, language and request state, IP/network information, and technical logs as necessary to provide and secure the service. Official privacy information:

AI processing services
The backend uses third-party cloud processing services to generate AI replies. These services may process messages, recent conversation context, Memory Vault notes, character instructions, generated replies, network information, and technical request metadata needed to return and protect a response.
The processing service used for a request may change based on availability and operational requirements. Each service handles information under its applicable agreement, configuration, security controls, and retention practices.
8. Advertising and Consent
The App contains banner, native, interstitial, and rewarded advertising. Rewarded ads are optional to view and provide additional messages after a completed reward. Other ad formats may appear during normal App use.
Where required, the App uses Google’s User Messaging Platform to request consent or present privacy choices before advertising requests are allowed. Consent choices can affect ad personalization, but limited or non-personalized advertising and related security or measurement processing may still occur where permitted. Available privacy choices can be reopened from Settings when Google makes that control available.
9. Data Sharing
We disclose information to service providers that process it to operate the backend, generate AI replies, deliver and measure ads, obtain consent choices, maintain security, and provide infrastructure. Advertising data may also be shared by Google with advertising partners as described in Google’s policies and SDK disclosure.
We do not provide a public chat feed and the App does not let users send messages directly to other users. We do not sell chat content. We may disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with law, protect users or services, investigate abuse, or complete a business transfer subject to applicable safeguards.
10. International Processing
The developer and service providers may process information in countries other than the country where you live. Privacy protections and government-access rules can differ by location. Providers apply their own contractual and legal safeguards to international processing.
11. Your Choices and Privacy Rights
You can:
- avoid adding personal information to chats or Memory Vault;
- add or remove Memory Vault notes;
- clear local App data from Settings;
- clear App storage or uninstall the App through Android;
- deny or revoke notification permission in Android settings;
- reset or delete the Android advertising ID through Android privacy settings;
- use available advertising privacy choices in the App; and
- contact us to request access, correction, objection, restriction, or deletion where those rights apply.
We may need reasonable information to verify a request. Do not email passwords, full chat transcripts, or government identification unless specifically and lawfully required.
12. Local-Data and Server-Data Deletion
For local deletion, open Settings in the App and select “Clear All Local Data.” You can also clear App storage or uninstall the App through Android settings.
To request deletion of server-side records that we can reasonably identify, email [makando991@gmail.com] with the App name and your request. Some information may be retained where required for security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, dispute handling, or where a service provider controls the applicable record.
13. Account Deletion
The App does not create or use user accounts, so there is no App account to delete. Local and server-data deletion options are described above.
14. Children’s Privacy
The App is intended only for adults aged 18 and over and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly request personal information from children. A parent or guardian who believes a child has provided information through the App may contact us at [SUPPORT_EMAIL] to request review and deletion where reasonably identifiable.
15. Security
The App uses HTTPS/TLS for observed network connections and uses Android application storage for local records. Chat content must be readable by the backend and AI service to generate a reply, so it is not end-to-end encrypted. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
16. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when App features, providers, legal requirements, or data practices change. We will post the updated policy with a new effective date. Material changes may also be communicated in the App or store listing where appropriate.
